He brought his experience and knowledge of medical massage techniques and business expertise into the school as an instructor and created the curriculum to pass his knowledge and techniques on to his medical massage students.
Mr. Lacatus opened the Main location in Sinking Spring and a year later a branch location of the school located within the Reading Muhlenberg Career & Technology Center 2615 Warren Road Reading, PA 19604. He successfully applied for accreditation through COMTA, Commission On Massage Therapy Accreditation. Accreditation and was approved April 15, 2016. As a new school, the initial application was granted accreditation with a clean application with no conditions. He is the Director of the Financial Aid and Business Office overseeing all Financial Aid administrative capability. He was instrumental in applying to petition to have massage therapy approved on the high priority occupation list September 1, 2016, to become an eligible training provider for Berks County through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. As well as obtaining federal approval for the school as a training provider for the Trade Adjustment Program (TAA) that provides a path for employment growth and opportunity through aid to US workers who have lost their jobs as a result of foreign trade.

Ms. Spohn experience consists of many aspects of opening and operating a private licensed school. As the Financial Aid Administrator and Veterans Aid Administrator she also assists the Director/President of the school with hiring and training of staff and hiring of teachers, record keeping, developing policies and procedures for financial aid compliance, staff, and students, revising the school catalog, student services, personnel services and any other administrative work. Reading PA, native, I decided to study massage therapy in NYC at the New York School of Health professions, where I obtained an associate’s degree in science with a major in massage therapy. After 4 years of working in New York as a chiropractic assistant and Massage therapist in the medical setting, I decided to return to reading to be with family. My passion is massage education and the expansion of the medical massage field professionally. At the New York School of Health professions, I graduated first in my class and learned many skills and specialties including, prenatal, floor massage, sports, reflexology, and traditional Chinese medicine.

As a licensed massage therapist, my passion has always been to educate my community about the benefits of medical massage therapy. Education and Certified in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology. I’ve taken many continuing education classes to stay up to date on the latest medical massage research and techniques, including myofascial release, cup therapy, soft tissue release, medical massage, and PNF/active isolated stretching. I’m eager to share my experiences with new students. I look forward to sharing my passion for medical massage therapy with my students!

Isabel is performing the following tasks:
Procures and follows-up on prospective student referrals from applicants and other sources.
Effectively manages all inquiries in accordance with standards operating procedures and best practices.
Successfully utilizes and manages online chat program to assist website visitors and recruit potential students.
Conducts interviews and tours with prospective students; determines whether the student meets admission requirements and is otherwise qualified for their program of interest, makes judgment concerning whether student will be successful within the school and/or program of choice and works to ensure the student is enrolled in the most appropriate program; refers to other programs or locations as appropriate.
Achieves enrollment, activity and outreach goals on an ongoing basis and acts ethically and with integrity in all activities in the course of employment with European Medical School Of Massage LLC.
Strictly adheres to the provisions of the EMSOM Admissions Code of Conduct.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of and complies with all applicable corporate, state, and federal regulations and policies for Admissions.
Facilitates the student’s enrollment and registration process by ensuring proper completion of the enrollment agreement, a collection of related fees, scheduling of admissions testing and financial planning appointment, notice of registration and orientation dates and so forth.
