He brought his experience and knowledge of medical massage techniques and business expertise into the school as an instructor and created the curriculum to pass his knowledge and techniques on to his medical massage students. Mr. Lacatus opened the Main location in Sinking Spring and a year later a branch location of the school located within the Reading Muhlenberg Career & Technology Center 2615 Warren Road Reading, PA 19604. He successfully applied for accreditation through COMTA, Commission On Massage Therapy Accreditation. Accreditation and was approved April 15, 2016. As a new school, the initial application was granted accreditation with a clean application with no conditions. He is the Director of the Financial Aid and Business Office overseeing all Financial Aid administrative capability. He was instrumental in applying to petition to have massage therapy approved on the high priority occupation list September 1, 2016, to become an eligible training provider for Berks County through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. As well as obtaining federal approval for the school as a training provider for the Trade Adjustment Program (TAA) that provides a path for employment growth and opportunity through aid to US workers who have lost their jobs as a result of foreign trade.

LeeAnne Spohn, Vice President, School Administrator, Financial Aid Administrator, Veterans Aid Administrator, Career Counseling, Advertising/Marketing, and Personnel Services Ms. Spohn experience consists of many aspects of opening and operating a private licensed school. As the Financial Aid Administrator and Veterans Aid Administrator she also assists the Director/President of the school with hiring and training of staff and hiring of teachers, record keeping, developing policies and procedures for financial aid compliance, staff, and students, revising the school catalog, student services, personnel services and any other administrative work. Reading PA, native, I decided to study massage therapy in NYC at the New York School of Health professions, where I obtained an associate’s degree in science with a major in massage therapy. After 4 years of working in New York as a chiropractic assistant and Massage therapist in the medical setting, I decided to return to reading to be with family. My passion is massage education and the expansion of the medical massage field professionally. At the New York School of Health professions, I graduated first in my class and learned many skills and specialties including, prenatal, floor massage, sports, reflexology, and traditional Chinese medicine.

Registered Nurse diploma from The Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences. BSN and MSN from Chamberlain University. Working on DNP from Chamberlin University with projected completion in 2022. I worked at Reading Hospital on the orthopedic floor and on the Cardiac step down unit before transitioning into health insurance working on Medicare and Medicaid compliance. I also worked as a school nurse at Holy Guardian Angels School in Muhlenberg. I currently work as a Director of Quality Management for 3 PA health plans at AmeriHealth Caritas. I grew up dancing and took my love of dancing into teaching dance at all levels and styles for the last 20 years. With my love of teaching I also formed different study groups throughout my various educational institutes and I was also tasked with teaching some material in the classroom for some professors. Throughout my career nothing in the hospital and in the insurance realm, I have been in charge of teaching various procedures and other learning to my colleagues. I love teaching because sharing knowledge is one of the most important gifts you can give to someone. Everyone learns differently and I am proud to accommodate any learning style. Originally from Northeastern, PA, I moved to the Reading area over 25 years ago. I grew up on a farm and I currently live outside of Reading with my husband, 2 children, 2 dogs and 5 cats.
Eileen YoungInstructor, MSN, RN
Eileen is a registered nurse. She graduated from The Reading Hospital School of Nursing with a Nursing Diploma, and graduated from Chamberlain University with her Bachelor of Nursing Science and Master of Nursing Science, with a concentration on nursing education. Her clinical background is in perioperative nursing. Most of her career was as an Educator for a medical device company. In that role, Eileen developed and delivered educational programs to sales personnel, nurses, physicians and others who handled and used the medical devices. Eileen retired in 2019, missed teaching, so she joined EMSOM.
Eileen has a very spoiled dog named Cocoa. She is the proud grandmother of 4 adults and lives with two of her granddaughters who attempt to keep her out of trouble.
Nina Granito Instructor BSN RN PA
Having retired from thirty years as a registered nurse, Nina was looking to integrate her holistic, eastern approach to health with her western education. She graduated with honors from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and began a rewarding career in Health Care. Her experiences have provided opportunities to pursue a path of service. Her passion is helping, educating, training and preparing others to become what they envision. Nina has worked at leading hospital systems in Pennsylvania. Hershey Medical Center, LVHN and most recently Einstein Medical Center in Montgomery County are a few. Beginning at Osteopathic Hospital (UPMC) as a staff nurse, she has grown across multiple disciplines and throughout her professional career. Her responsibilities as Research Coordinator, Clinical Director, Supervisor and perioperative nurse have taught her to appreciate the diversity of people and their individualism. She has studied eastern medicine and most recently embarked on a journey to learn healing practices of indigenous cultures. In her spare time she shares her passions of reading, travel, exercise and nature with her husband, her three children and their significant partners, two grandchildren, one dog and one cat.

My objective is to improve quality of life by relieving pain from the body and soul. I have a deep passion to heal. I am a skilled body detective. I love what I do so much that I decided to begin teaching so I may be able to inspire others who choose this career field. I am also a Reading Royals Massage Therapist.
I am a loving mother of three. I love to cook, watch football (Go Steelers!!) and my favorite time of the year is Summer and Fall.
