Aurora began teaching in 2015 and has found a new joy in her career. In teaching others, she deepens her own understanding of the body, how it functions, and how it can heal. “There’s a quote that says your purpose in life is to find your gift, and your purpose is to give it away. My gift is massage therapy and healing, and teaching allows me to give it to others. I’m very grateful to be able to share my perspectives and teach others the beauty in therapeutic bodywork.”
Aurora specializes in therapeutic bodywork techniques, shiatsu, and myofascial release with the focus of restoring the body and being back to balance.
BETHANIE BAKERInstructor, LMT-PA
After graduating from Wilson high school when she was seventeen, Bethanie was planning on attending Alvernia University in the Fall of 2014. However, plans changed and she found myself stuck not knowing what I wanted to do. That is how she found Massage Therapy. She enrolled at Berks Technical Institute in August of 2014 and before she knew it, had a diploma and a world of opportunities in front of her. She began her work at Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Wyomissing, PA. Thrilled to get to work on people with different ailments and different conditions. It allowed her to expand my knowledge and include new techniques and modalities into my routine to find which worked best for each person. In August of 2016, she attended to her first CEU course. The class was all about orthopedic massage, something that strongly interested her. During the lesson, the instructor went into some detail about Medical Massage and once again, she found herself intrigued to know more about this side of Massage. Bethanie has always known that she not only wanted to help people but, wanted to work with the human body in many ways. Today, she is not only a Massage Therapist, Bethanie also has completed schooling for Medical Assisting, and a Certified Zumba Instructor. There is nothing she loves more than working with and helping others!
