Massage Therapy School Story

So…you want to become Massage Therapist. Hmmm, you came to the right place and…the right school for sure.

My dream began 32 years ago when I was no more than 16 years old. In those times…no cell phones, no internet, no computers, black and white TV with no more than one channel. But it was good to meet people in person. It was interesting because to connect with someone it may take 2-3 days haha, not instant like now with a simple text.

Back to you and becoming a massage therapist, the field I was born to serve in. Love it every minute of it. Why do I love it? Healing people instantly with an amazing gift we call a miracle. So, yes, I am in the business of miracles. Nothing can compare with seeing a person in a lot of pain and 10 minutes later the pain is gone. How about someone who suffers for 10-15 and even 20 years, you can heal that person within 2-3 sessions. Amazing, right?

Well, for that to happen, you need tools or we call it techniques and…a big heart and passion, to care for them.

I asked one of my current students what makes you chose EMSOM? He was extremely happy I ask him that question so he was laying down the reasons, but what I saw, was the passion he has for this field and I saw myself in him 32 years ago 🙂

Learning British Sports Therapy, Orthopedic Massage, Medical massage and so many other modalities, will set you apart from the competition but most importantly is you can help people with conditions such as sciatic pain, neck and shoulder pain, lower back and so on. You also learn techniques for pre & post sports events.

I worked for a complete year to finalize the medical massage curriculum, an extremely difficult task to accomplish. The reason it is so difficult is because I needed it to be for everyone, and I mean that. Yes, I know there is a lot of courses in it complete with medical terms but when I meant everyone, this is because I believe in our instructors and staff who has this magical touch of teaching and methods who make it simple so everyone will pass the final exam called MBLEX.
